Kids' retreats, on the other hand, are typically shorter, focused experiences, often with a specific theme or purpose.

Vacation Bible School (VBS):
VBS is a summer program, usually a week-long event, where children learn about the Bible through a variety of engaging activities like Bible stories, Missionary stories, experiments, songs, crafts, and games. It's a great opportunity for children to connect with their faith and build relationships with other kids. 
Kids' Retreats:
These are shorter, often weekend-long, special occasions, experiences designed for kids to learn, equip spiritually, grow, and have fun. They can be themed around specific topics, like Heroes of faith, God’s way, missionary work, or even a general summer camp experience.
